The puzzle box found early in Year Walk, plays a big part in the story. Magnus Eriksson created the physical box, which is much lighter than it looks. For the interaction with the box in the game, we were inspired by rotary dial phones as input. We have heard that several young players who had never interacted with a rotary dials had trouble figuring out how to input the symbols they want.
