Year Walk on Steam = March 6th!

We have a date … And it’s so soon:
Year Walk hops on to Windows and Mac via Steam on March 6th!

Here’s the brand new trailer!

Get over to our new mini site for screens and more!

In short, this is new:
• New locations within the game
• New puzzles
• Map
• Updated art
• Integrated encyclopedia about the mysterious myths and creatures encountered in the game
• Hint system
• Steam Achievement Puzzles

We’re really proud of it, and we hope you’ll appreciate all the work we’ve put into making this feel like its own unique thing, something familiar yet new, and not a straight port.

  1. “Anxiety” is the word. :D i’m burning while waiting to play it! thanks for the effort, guys!

i think that… this will be the first game played with my roommates, using the projector in the livingroom and enjoying it together! i’ll tell you the experience ;)

  2. I just want to know if Year Walk for iOS will be updated for iPhone 5s 64-Bit Support and will it receive an update with the Steam features?

Also is Device 6 optimized for the 64-Bit iPhone 5s? I know Device 6 is iOS 7 optimized but it doesn’t say in the AppStore description if it’s 64-Bit optimized.

  3. Great, but will this version feature the forest puzzle? I really hope it wont. for me it was a frustrating part in an amazing experience. I understand that you were trying to make a unique puzzle, and that you have a very “musical ear”, and that is really really great – the soundtrack to both this and Device 6 was amazing! but for me this puzzle was an exercise in memorising how many swipes to the right I have to do in each “level” of the forest.

I’d be glad to play the game on my PC for the second time, mainly to see what’s new, and I’ll probably buy it anyway, but I’d really appreciate it if you would at least put somewhere else in the game something to help people like me…
Have a great day, and sorry about my grammer…

  4. Will the new puzzles to be featured in the Steam version be included in an update of the iPhone version? (I really hope so.)
